These abstracts are mostly scenes of Dubai skyline, but could also focus on concepts such as fear, hope, powers of the soul, prayer, spirituality, etc. and are done with a focus on the balance of color, form and technique. I love bright color- working spontaneously – squeezing gouache paint right out of the nozzle and swishing it around with a large painting knife where necessary. The works usually always have at least 2 layers of thick paint.
