Raised in India, lived over 20 years in the United Arab Emirates and currently relocated to Muscat, Oman with my family, I enjoy creating art works of the positive impressions around me. My journey in art began with a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Fine Arts from Chandigarh, followed by a Master\u2019s degree from Banaras, both of which shaped the foundation of my creative pursuits. Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching art in various cities across India and the UAE, an experience that enriched my perspective and deepened my connection to the artistic community. I enjoy creating art works of the positive impressions around me, working with materials like mosaic, glass, fluid paints like water, acrylic and gouache color. I have exhibited work in galleries, as well as exhibition markets, in UAE and India, and have sold works around the globe. Since 2012, I have dedicated much of my time to creating art, with my works exhibited in galleries throughout both countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nature has always been an enduring source of inspiration for me. Growing up in India, I was captivated by the vibrant diversity of plant and animal life, their colors and forms providing endless creative fuel. Moving to the UAE introduced me to the stark and serene beauty of the desert, which further heightened my appreciation for nature\u2019s varied expressions. My artistic sensibilities have also been deeply influenced by the colors and symbolic style of Gustav Klimt, a source of inspiration since my college days.<\/span><\/p>\n

I believe art plays a vital role in building communities and serving humanity. There is a sacred connection between art and spirituality, a power that enables us to heal, educate, and transform. My mosaic works emerge from a profound desire to explore the depths of my soul and share meaningful truths\u2014messages that inspire, uplift, and leave a lasting, positive impact, long after I am gone. Being actively engaged in community building and its various dimensions, I have used art to advance this further, illustrating children\u2019s books, creating collective large scale art projects with institutions and communities. <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
